Last night, I went to a play written by a friend and panicked and threw on my favorite outfit. My hair was wet and I didn’t brush it and I put on my lipstick in the car. I looked and felt very messy. Life isn’t perfect.
I’ll be camping this weekend, so it’ll be an easy weekend for the 10×10. Probably will just wear leggings, base layer and fleece each day. Easy!
The play was in the bottom of the church and I just loved the bathroom. The cute pink tiles and the pattern on the floor and the shiny pinky beige on the wall. This is why I’m alive!!! For the cute details nobody at all thinks are so nice other than me.
I wore my MimuMaxi dress I talked about feeling guilty about ordering in my Resolution Check-in where I noted that I promptly failed at my buying no clothes this year resolution. I have worn this dress 3x a week since buying it. So I don’t regret it.
I wore a navy sweater with no brand that an ex-girlfriend gave me when she cleaned out her closet. I love this sweater! I love a 3/4 sleeve.
You can see my old, worn classic Adidas along with the tiles in the first photo. I love Adidas because they are high fashion but not expensive. Garance Dore’s Adidas cost $70 and yours will too (Unless you get them at the thrift store like me and pay $7.99). It reminds me of this Andy Warhol quote in the Philosophy of Andy Warhol: From a to b and Back Again which has always stuck with me.
What’s great about this country is that America started the tradition where the richest consumers buy essentially the same things as the poorest. You can be watching TV and see Coca-Cola, and you know that the President drinks Coke, Liz Taylor drinks Coke, and just think, you can drink Coke, too. A Coke is a Coke and no amount of money can get you a better Coke than the one the bum on the corner is drinking. All the Cokes are the same and all the Cokes are good. Liz Taylor knows it, the President knows it, the bum knows it, and you know it. -Andy Warhol
